RBV Volunteers

We are grateful to our many volunteers who contribute so much with their green thumbs, handy skills and warm hearts.   Thank you for making Rainbow Village's neighborhood homes better than ever!

Washington University

Each month a group of RA's from Washington U. are spending a Saturday morning doing work on various Rainbow homes--painting, raking, planting, etc. from Sept. 2009 through April 2010.

 

 

God First Church

Twelve members of God First Church painted and landscaped at a Florissant Rainbow Village home in October.

MasterCard

A talented group of MasterCard employees stained a ramp and deck, painted the wood trim and weeded a front bed at a Rainbow home in Florissant in September.  They even tackled a wasp's nest (yes, Windex does solve all problems).

 

Des Peres Rotary

Fifteen members of Des Peres Rotary showed no fear of heights as they spent two Saturdays scraping, prepping and painting around windows on a campus home.

 

Foundry Software

Employees from Foundry Software   regularly volunteer to work on Rainbow homes.  In September 2009 they stained new stairs on a deck on a campus home.

 

 

Church of Later Day Saints

Over 30 members of the Church of Later Day Saints spent a day in August 2009 working at three Rainbow managed properties doing painting, staining and landscaping.

MasterCard EIS Team

Fifty volunteers spent a morning on our main campus scraping, priming and painting over 1,100 feet of railing and weeding gardens at nine campus homes in July 2009.

DFM Trainers

Thirteen personal trainers muscled up to remove railroad ties at our home in Overland in June 2009.

Colliers Turley Martin Tucker

Three teams from CTMT gave a new face to our campus Community Center during May 2009. Team 1 removed all old landscaping, team 2 prepared the beds, team 3 planted 28 new bushes.
